We’ve had mixed experiences at Millville Veterinary Clinic. One of our dogs had a very positive visit. The veterinarian we saw was kind, gentle, and very comforting to our dog, which we really appreciated. There was also a lab issue where results were mishandled and we had to repeat samples, but the testing facility waived the cost of the retesting as it was their mistake. The vet herself was compassionate and overall that visit felt positive. Unfortunately, our experience with our other dog was very different. The veterinarian we saw during that appointment felt much more pushy and didn’t take time to make our dog comfortable. We had also paid for annual testing and were instructed to return samples on the day of her scheduled surgery. To be safe, we brought the sample in a week early, but were then told it was past the deadline and that we would need to pay again to have the testing completed, which we already paid for. Because of the unexpected additional charge, we chose not to proceed with the second test. This was frustrating since we followed the instructions given by the clinic, and it felt unfair to be placed in that position. We’ve had positive experiences here in the past and would like to continue using the clinic, so I hope the practice might review what happened and consider making this situation right.

Not helpful at all. I needed a price RANGE, before making a decision regarding their services and they would not give a price range off of previous surgeries of the same kind.

The worse vet office I've ever been to. The vet assistants and office receptionist should all be educated on proper and maybe nice with a big of good customer service. Ill never come back here and im warning everyone else to not come here ever.

The assistant was great. The only reason this review isn’t a 1. Compassionate and kind. But she was tasked with relaying what the dr said. That our tiny chihuahua puppy w parvo needed emergency care at a facility in sac or Medford or to be put down now and taking him home was not an option that was on the table. Excuse me?? You can tell the doc I respect her opinion but that that’s not up to her and I’ll be taking him home. For warming him and giving him fluids I was charged $550. They wanted another $300 to put him down. Last time I brought a dog here almost 8 years ago now, the assistant waited for the doctor to leave the room and then told me behind his back in a whisper, that they have to give you an iv and show you how to use it if you insist. But only if you insist. She knew that we couldn’t afford the bill and that our sweet Lucy was going to die w out fluids. Bless her. She also knew the dr would push for money and use emotionally charged scare tactics to get it. She told me the doctor would tell me that it wasn’t possible blah blah blah, and to keep insisting. I did and it worked. We brought home an IV bag and I sat w her morning noon and night and she actually survived. So I asked for this again on the slim chance I could help this little guy at home. I was told no flatly by the secretary, we can’t do that. But they actually could, just wouldn’t. They also could’ve just explained that I could go get some saline and a needle from the drugstore but, they have to make every penny they can FYI if you have a parvo puppy you can give them saline injections in to the fat on their back w a needle to keep them hydrated. Also oil of oregano is one of the strongest antibiotics you can buy over the counter. Vitamin Shopp or orchard. Works on humans too!! Take it serious tho. Use the exact same dose each time, spaced evenly through the day. They’ll develop immunity to it just like any other antibiotic if you vary or forget a dose. Thanks for the help Millville

This is the only place I trust for my pups... They take excellent care of them and I trust them as much as I trust myself to care for them... I would recommend them to anyone....
