- RJRosana JulioJul 9, 20251.0Sadly our location closed so we decided to start coming here to the Rancho Mission Viejo location, just across the street. So far, we’ve shown up to our first appointment- the doors were closed. The associate responsible for opening, strolled in late because she overslept. I was given a bunch of paper forms to complete as a new patient - which I am not . When I told associate I didn’t have my glasses she said “sorry we need these” .. I’ve been a client of Banfield for 10 years FYI - not sure how I was suppose to complete forms without be able to see. Thankfully Dr said no problem we can complete online, I’ll help you. I don’t think this place uses technology. If I make an appointment online - they call to tell me that appt isn’t available. Every time. Once I rescheduled- after being told the appt I made online wasn’t available and ended up forgetting because I’m so use to receiving the reminder texts and emails and now I get nothing. Missed that appointment too - no follow up. This place just runs like it’s going out of business. No one is happy, everyone is unmotivated. The med team is ok but management, organization, reception are a fiasco ! One time we went there to buy dog food and the place was empty, lights off and front doors unlocked. Could have walked out with the entire inventory ! They’re a mess ! Going to have to drive further for front of the house professionalism !

What is an Optimum Wellness Plan?
Optimum Wellness Plans are designed to provide annual preventive care. They include head-to-tail exams, vaccines, early screening diagnostics, consultations for proper nutrition, dental care and more! Since wellness plans are not insurance, they do not include treatment for unpredictable or abnormal conditions, however discounts would apply. Because pets need ongoing preventive care, wellness plans automatically renew at the end of each twelve month period (unless paid in full at enrollment).
How do I pay for an Optimum Wellness Plan?
You can spread the cost of your wellness plan across the 12 months of your annual agreement to make it easier to budget for the essential health care your pet needs. Your monthly payments can be automatically withdrawn from a checking or savings account or charged to a credit card so that you don’t have to worry about them once you enroll. We also offer the option of paying in full if you prefer.

• In-room appointments: You and your pet visit the vet together. Please arrive a few minutes before your appointment time
• Drop-off appointments: If you have a drop-off appointment, we will communicate a time to drop off your pet. Keep your phone nearby and we’ll call you when your pet is ready for pickup.
