  Staff is very friendly and helpful. They also have a large selection of products and the prices are very competitive.

  The betta fish are kept in cruel conditions. Small cups for a week at a time, not heated and not filtered. On any given day 75% of them are dead or dying.

  Hoy no fue el mejor día para mi perrita aquí la trasquilaron horrible pedí hablar con el manager y la persona q me atendió fue súper despota y grosero de igual de entenderme y darme la razón porque vio a mi perrita fue muy muy grosero después de 6 años de servicio cambio de lugar👎🏻

  Went to Petco in La Quinta today to buy my dog food. Went to pay and the employee (Bennett) assumed I was paying with a card. I said no Cash, my total was $70 dollars. I handed him a $100 bill. He proceeded to try to run it through a machine then says to me, oh I can’t take this because it doesn’t have a lightning strip and he didn’t know if it was counterfeit. I then asked if he had a pen that could check to see if it was a real bill or not, he said no they don’t work. I asked for a manager and he said he was a manager. I asked him to explain this to me because this has never happened to me at any store. As I’m talking her interrupts me and says…CAN I TALK in a really rude manner. After that I let him know I was not going to be taking the items or shopping at Petco any longer. I always bought my dog food and other things from this location so I have spent a lot of money at this store. Not anymore! Do better Petco.
