I came here to unfortunately put my 21 year old cat down, the staff and vet were very sweet and I would take my next animal here in the future.

I walked in and was told they had cancellation appointments available. Based on that, I was ready to stay for service and was initially told the visit would be $25. However, that suddenly jumped to $180 because they decided to classify it as an “emergency visit.”
That kind of price increase without clear justification felt very misleading. If you’re offering cancellation appointments, it should be handled as a standard visit not used as an excuse to upcharge.
Because of this, we chose not to stay. The lack of transparency and professionalism was very disappointing. If I could give 0 stars, I would. I wouldn’t recommend this clinic based on my experience.

AVOID THIS PET HOSPITAL AT ALL COSTS. Absolutely unbelievable experience. We recently medically boarded our cat, who has small cell lymphoma, for 6 days as my wife and I were going to be out of town. Our cat needed to be given medication twice a day due to being diagnosed with pancreatitis by her oncologist just days before our trip. When we brought her to IPH for her “mandatory exam”, we were told the staff would be able to give her the medication without issue and that they would even put her in the “isolation area” so that she would be less stressed. Upon dropping her off the next day, it was like all of that information was LOST. We had to remind them that she was going to be boarded separately, and when the nurse discussed the list of medications with us, she seemed hesitant that they could do it. This made us incredibly nervous to leave her but we had no other choice since we wanted her to get her medication while we were away. The following day, we called to check on her and was told by the vet on duty that she was able to give all her meds by herself, which seemed unbelievable. We asked for a picture (something they told us they would have no problem doing to ease our worry), which the vet on duty said she would do. We NEVER received a picture. The following day, I called for an update and it was an even worse experience. Front desk reception was unsure whether or not our cat was given any medications, was rude and short with me, and said that they couldn’t promise anything. Had we been able to, I would have pulled our cat from their boarding facility at this point. We didn’t receive a single update about how she was doing from that point on.
Flash forward to today and it was clear that our cat was not given ANY medications, particularly her pain medication, since we counted the same amount as we dropped her off with.
So here we are, unsure whether our cat was given her chemotherapy, her medication to recover from pancreatitis, or her pain medication during her entire boarding experience. Instead, we’re left wondering if our cat was left worse from this experience.
If you care about your animal, don't trust this group at all.

I brought my chocolate lab here over the weekend for a worsening skin issue since my regular vet was closed. This hospital is conveniently located in Irvine, and I highly recommend them. The staff helped us quickly, treated my dog with great care and kindness, and even updated her vaccines during the visit. I would definitely come back and recommend them to anyone looking for quality care for their pets

We brought our 11-year-old British Shorthair here because she was not doing well — she had a sore ear and was showing signs of labored breathing.
From the start, the experience felt more focused on pricing than care. and the staff was unfriendly and dismissive. The front desk interaction in particular was one of the worst we’ve experienced at any veterinary clinic.
We left with a $600 bill. Bloodwork was done and we were told to return with a fecal sample, but no X-rays were performed despite our concerns about her condition.
Within days, we had to take her to Irvine Valley 24-hour Animal Hospital, where she was diagnosed with a serious HCM heart condition and immediately received proper care that saved her life.
The difference in urgency and professionalism was extremely concerning. There was also an incident during handling of our cat where staff abruptly claimed she bit them, which was not consistent with her behavior.
If they had any heart they would reimburse us for not even getting all the treatments rendered.
