- ACAmeer CastilloFeb 14, 20261.0I had bought a balled python from petco’s hesperia location and i asked before i bought him does he take meals with them and they said yes so a couple of days later i bought some frozen mice for him to eat and i gave it to him and he didn’t take and i also gave him time and he still didn’t take it the next day i called them and they said if it a week or two to get used to it home so i did that and i tried again and he still didn’t take the mice so after i kept trying giving him weeks he still didn’t take it and today he passed so im guessing he had a sickness or something but i don’t recommend this petco because i also had bought a leopard gecko and he also wasn’t eating but i returned him in time so i don’t recommend anyone buying from here.

The cashier working that day, named “Maria” according to her name tag, was extremely unprofessional and made the experience unpleasant. While waiting in line, I witnessed every customer before me have an issue with her. When it was my turn, I was purchasing dog treats from the snack bar and grabbed two of the frosted treats, not realizing they were sold individually for $2 each. Instead of simply explaining this, she reached into the bag with dirty gloves, placed the treats directly on a dirty counter, and slid them back and forth while telling me they were sold individually, as if I were trying to be dishonest. I apologized, and she responded rudely, saying, “That’s why there’s a price on the display.” On top of that, the store’s dog food inventory is consistently lacking. They are almost always out of the size I’m looking for. Overall, this store has a lot of room for improvement in both customer service and inventory management.
