Hesperia Animal Hospital offers complete dentistry and dental X-rays, a full lab, treatment areas, latest X-ray equipment, and a large surgery room, which is fitted with the latest and most advanced surgical equipment. The exhaust system in the work areas keeps the air clean, safe, and odor free. A centrally placed glass walled intensive care sector allows the doctor and staff to keep an eye on severely ill or recuperating pets. There are 4 spacious, clean and odor free exam rooms. Recuperating pets are boarded in rooms, dog runs, or cat kennels. The boarding areas have been designed to maintain a high level of hygiene. Pets suffering from communicable diseases like PARVO are housed in the contagious ward. The boarding and grooming facilities are lodged on the second floor. There are 40 dog runs, varying in size to provide a comfortable home for a Chihuahua or a big St. Bernard. The cat condos are completely separate from the dog runs. The hospital provides quality grooming services. We have experienced and qualified groomers in the hospital. While you are here, you can meet the groomer and setup an appointment.

I brought in my cats for their free vet visit I was entitled by adopting through the Hesperia animal shelter. When I called them, they said I only needed to bring the form that says I am entitled to a free vet visit and I clarified multiple times over the phone about this. They told me numerous times it was the only document that was needed. I show up to the hospital and the person working the front desk tells me that they also need the front paper of their adoption packet. I asked them on the phone the day prior if I needed that page and they said no just bring the page that tells you they can get a free vet visit. When I told the woman at the front desk this information she said there’s nothing they can do about it. No accommodations at all. Nothing offered for their mistake.

Do not waste your time and trust here. Doctors do not care about your animal.
I had a negative experience with their doctors and after needing to bring another animal here (not by choice) rather than try and do better they refused me service and kicked me out.
Anywhere is better than here.

I have been using Hesperia Animal Hospital for almost 30 years and they have cared for more than 40 of my animals. Dr. Ahmed and Dr.B are the most caring and knowledgeable vets I have used. They take the time to listen to concerns that you have, And are always willing to help you, strategize on the best care to give your pet. They are also one of the most price conscientious vets I have run into in the high desert.
One of my dogs was very sick and Dr. Ahmed came in on a Sunday to check on her and then give me an update. The doctors and staff are always very caring. when it has been time to have to make a decision to say goodbye, they’ve always been very passionate and helpful. they are the vets I trust with all my heart to take care of my precious animals.

I took my dog there for what looked like a bad eye infection. The doctor was afraid to touch my dog. He didn’t have support staff with him to help handle my dog. I had to hold my dog for the check up, and I was getting yelled at by the doctor who I repeat was nervous around my dog. My dog was scared and ready to bite, but it is a small Pomeranian. I was charged close to 2k for labs, medication, and one over night stay that began at 6pm and ended and 8:30am. From when they closed to first thing in the morning when they opened the next day. The eye infection returned and when I went back they wanted to charge me for the same labs because they had lost them another 600 dollars.

HORRIBLE PLACE STAY AWAY! Doctor does not care about your animals. And takes money. My pet passed away literally a few weeks ago and I had purchased the kitten package and so heartlessly they said sorry no refund or credit or anything. Felt like a slap in the face. Not even condolences for my loss. I also had another experience with my dog where doctor came in examined my pet left and came back and gave him a shot without consulting me of the charge. He just said “this will be good for him” and gave him and injection quickly and told me to go to the front. I was not discussed with how much the injection would cost or anything. This place just sees pets as number on a spreadsheet and it’s heartbreaking. If you love your pets take them somewhere else. They aren’t worth the time.
