¡¡Horrible experiencia!! Horrible experience🚩🚩🚩🚩🚩 They only care about taking as much money as possible even putting animals in danger.

This place is a rip off with no mercy . I went to ask if they could help me with dematting of my dog explaining that I was on a fix income & before I knew & realized that I got on a plan to save me money?. Only they perform all kind of tests & vaccines that I did not request but they said it was included in the $54.00 a month plan summing to over $800.00 . Mind you they never demmated my dogs hair , they said I needed to come back for this @ a later time. When I went back they wanted to charge me $500.00 dollars to sedate my dog because it was not included in my plan 😒. I was so upset & left in tears because I didn't have the $. I had to give my dog away 😭 I called to cancell & now they're telling me I have to pay about $600.00 dollars that I do not have. No 💫💫💫💫💫💫

I would give zero stars if I could. I brought my senior dog, Buggy, here for an ear infection and was prescribed Mometamax. I was never informed that this medication has a known risk of permanent hearing loss, particularly in older dogs. I was simply handed the medication and told to administer drops for seven days. No mention of risks, no warning about correct administration, nothing. After completing the course exactly as directed, Buggy developed significant hearing loss. When I brought this up at her follow-up today, the receptionist Kailey casually mentioned that hearing loss is a “known side effect.” I was stunned as that was the first time I’d heard this. I raised the issue again during pickup and the vet tech named LUZ scoffed at me and denied that Mometamax can cause hearing loss, even though the other staff member Kailey had confirmed that risk earlier that day and it’s clearly listed by the manufacturer. I told her that they need to inform owners about such a serious risk because it’s their responsibility as veterinary professionals to ensure owners can make informed decisions. Had I known deafness was a real possibility, I would not have given my dog this medication and would have asked for an alternative option. When I said this, she literally just shrugged and said nothing. LUZ offered no apology, no acknowledgment, and no empathy. My dog’s hearing loss was preventable and Banfield’s failure to communicate serious risks is negligent and unacceptable. I won’t be returning, and I strongly urge others to go elsewhere.
