  My dog is allergic to chicken so I went to buy a can of Natural balance venison. They did not have venison, but they had bison. Next time I will call in advance to make sure that they have what I need. The staff is very knowledgeable and nice. One can of bison with tax cost $4.65 but that seems to be the going price. The store is very clean. I will continue going to Petco

  Sadly Fresno store on Friant does not carry my dogs food but the store in Clovis does.

  They always have fresh catnip and wheatgrass on a shelf at eye-level which makes it easy to find.

  Stopped by Petco today for a quick nail trim and was reminded why I usually avoid this place. I stood at the grooming counter for about 5–10 minutes while being completely ignored. When a groomer finally came out, she was immediately rude and dismissive, telling me they “didn’t have time” and to come back later, then turned around and walked away. No explanation, no offer to book an appointment, no suggestion of when they might actually have availability — just “later.” If you’re too busy, that’s understandable. What isn’t understandable is the attitude and complete lack of basic customer service. A simple “we’re booked but I can schedule you for ___” would have taken 10 seconds. On top of that, the groomer was wearing extremely tight leggings that didn’t seem appropriate for a workplace, which just added to the overall unprofessional impression of the grooming area. Instead of feeling like a customer, I felt like an inconvenience for walking into a store that advertises grooming services. Petco seriously needs to work on how their grooming staff interacts with customers.
