Banfield staff and Dr Lou are very kind sweet knowledgeable in their field and compassionately under standing . I brought my rescue kitty in for her initial shots and wellness check they were very thorough. I now have decided to have them on our team for health care concerns at least for kitty’s first year as I am not versed in kitten hood 2025 . Which seems to be more complicated than when I grew up with a backyard cat .

This place is not the best if you have a bigger dog. And they are just not consistent. We brought our American Bully for a check up. We gave her trazodone to calm her down and she did great. But the staff just kept acting like she was difficult. She went right with them and they were able to draw blood. And they just had her and my BF waiting in the room for 2 hours. The vet came in, barely checked her, was not very engaged. I’m not sure if the staff doesn’t like bigger dogs or if they aren’t used to them but we expect at least a certain amount of compassion, especially if we just want our pup to be checked and to make sure she’s healthy. The last visit was similar. This vet is close to our apartment so it’s convenient for her shots and meds. But they just aren’t all on the same page. And the gentleman up front who answers the phone is not helpful at all when scheduling. We used to enjoy bringing her here but lately, it’s been really disappointing and upsetting.

I would give 0 stars if posible, since the first time we went there they charged us for “Protocol actions” (that increase for $100 the price of the visit) that we didn’t ask for, even tough we were very specific with the reason we were going there, they told us it was for protocol when they ended the visit, but never told us before, they seem to care more for the profits that giving a good service and their patients, so lame!

Took in our dog and they ordered tests but never followed up to check on her or give us results info with any prescriptions. Less than typical Banfield expected experience

What is an Optimum Wellness Plan?
Optimum Wellness Plans are designed to provide annual preventive care. They include head-to-tail exams, vaccines, early screening diagnostics, consultations for proper nutrition, dental care and more! You can spread the cost of your wellness plan across the 12 months of your annual agreement to make it easier to budget for the essential health care your pet needs. Your monthly payments can be automatically withdrawn from a checking or savings account or charged to a credit card so that you don’t have to worry about them once you enroll. We also offer the option of paying in full if you prefer.
What kind of appointment do I have?
• In-room appointments: You and your pet visit the vet together. Please arrive a few minutes before your appointment time
• Drop-off appointments: If you have a drop-off appointment, we will communicate a time to drop off your pet. Keep your phone nearby and we’ll call you when your pet is ready for pickup.
