The nurse was more engaged than the actual vet, who barely interacted with me or my cat. Her behavior was strange and socially awkward, and when my cat jumped back into his carrier, she threw some treats inside without asking if that was okay. That felt invasive and unprofessional. I explained to the nurse that my cat had brown spots or mucus inside and around his nose. She casually guessed it might be from fighting with his brother. That was the only explanation I received. When the vet came in, she spent maybe three minutes with us. There was no thorough exam, no clear communication, and not even basic advice on how to clean or treat the area. A few minutes later, another staff member came in with a two thousand dollar treatment plan. This was based entirely on what I had described, not on anything the vet actually checked or confirmed. It felt like they were more interested in upselling expensive services than actually providing care. Fortunately, I had a coupon, but they did not know that when they gave me the inflated estimate. For eighty-five dollars, I expected thoughtful care, medical insight, and real attention to my cat’s symptoms. What I got was a rushed visit, zero answers, and a hard sell. I will not be returning.
