Unfortunately, it turned out to be a disappointing experience. When we picked up our dog, he was still half wet, covered in loose hair, and clearly not properly brushed or dried. We went back to let them know, hoping they would fix the issue or at least acknowledge it. They did a bit more brushing, but then told us our dog was “not a good fit for Petco.” That response was very surprising — our dog has been going to other groomers since he was a puppy and has never had any problems anywhere else. There was no apology, no accountability, and no effort to ensure customer satisfaction. We understand not every place is the right fit for every pet, but a little care, professionalism, and courtesy can make a big difference. This experience showed us that Petco grooming simply isn’t up to the standard we’ve seen elsewhere. Accidentally booked it once — never again.

Store is in Auburn ca (manager Jackie), was definitely not customer friendly. I have never been treated unfriendly by a manager at Petco like her. I was upset do to them returning my order within 3days. I also called the night before to check on order. But Folsom ca (Jena-manager) accommodated me.
