- VVVeronica VFeb 14, 20262.0I hate to leave this post because my heart breaks today. I went in and there was a cat a lone cat in one of their isolated containers and there was no freshwater. There was no food and the smell inside of that container was so horrifically strong that it smelled like ammonia. I was horrified being a cat, mom that this cat could have been left in such horrible condition.By the rescue. I asked the cashier to speak to a manager because I was heartbroken. I couldn't believe that they could actually go about their day. Knowing that this cat had no water, no food. And no clean litterbox, and the air in that container was disgusting. When I spoke to someone who came out of the employee room, they told me that the shelter or the adoption agency left it like that. And that they were going to try and take care of the cat themselves that the rescue is supposed to take care of it. Well, if there's no freaking water and there's no freaking food, are they going to leave the cat there to starve? And to thirst to death. I don't understand this, I'm so deeply disappointed. I can't even walk in there anymore. I'm going to find a different place to go. I usually buy all my cat products there. But I'm so deeply disappointed. How could they leave the poor cat in there? Knowing there was no ventilation, the smell of pungent ammonia, no water, no food just despicable in my eyes, it was animal cruelty at its worst.

Otherwise, best to shop online, and hope the product fits your need. Good news, however . . . online returns at the store are accommodated most of the time.
