This weekend our sweet pup was not feeling well so we took her to Iron Horse Vet Care. The staff was so kind and compassionate. They listened to our concerns and provided a detailed explanation of what our sweet dog was experiencing. They did not request any unnecessary procedures or tests, but sent us home with a complete plan. We went in feeling very anxious and left knowing exactly how to help our dog. I would highly recommend this emergency vet center.

The receptionist is on a high horse and this is not okay at all. She has put notes in my dog's clinical file that she has had diarrhea when I needed a diarrheal medication. Her attitude towards me, along with other animal owners has been terrible and rude. Her empathy towards others is ridiculous. We bring our animals here for them to heal and get better. However, the receptionist makes us feel like they are giving us charity, when we are full-paying customers. Not only did I notice that her attitude towards us was off, her attitude towards a different animal owner was so condescending and rude. If you work in customer service, you should know how to talk to people, and this lady clearly doesn't know how to. Not only is she rude, she is unhelpful.

My Vizsla has been seen here twice and both times was expertly diagnosed and treated. The staff is awesome; the Drs were incredibly knowledgeable, very kind and empathetic and ultimately took phenomenal care of us. I could not possibly recommend them highly enough. If I could bring him here for routine care, I would!

I had to bring my cat in for an emergency, and I couldn’t be more grateful for the amazing care we received. The staff was incredibly kind, patient, and understanding during such a stressful time. They explained everything clearly, treated my pet with so much compassion, and made sure I felt reassured throughout the entire visit. You can tell they genuinely care about the animals. I highly recommend this clinic to anyone who needs urgent, professional, and heartfelt care.

We had the most amazing and calming experience with Ironhorse! I came in with my dachshund who injured her back. As a pet parent, I have never such a fear like this. So as soon as I began talking to the receptionist I started crying, but she was sooooo kind and eased my mind throughout this process. They took my girl back to examine her and the Vet called me to a room. She, as compassionately as she could, sat me down and told me the unfortunate news our girl was diagnosed with IVDD and was deemed paralyzed. As I bawled, she talked me through the next steps with such care. We were referred to Beacon Specialist in Fremont to ultimately have emergency surgery for her. (Our girl received the care she needed and can now walk!) I HIGHLY recommend this location, I can not imagine going to a vet where we felt rushed, pushed, and lacked empathy. Our animals are like our children and I am so glad we had the support here like we did.
