  I made a appointment online for the next day I got a confirmation email. But when I drove all the way there i was told that the time slot i chose was double book that someone tried to call me to reschedule but i checked after being turned away I had no missed calls and no voicemails. My dog is very sick and they wouldn't see him because the online appointment app always messes up. We'll maybe you shouldn't have that option to schedule a appointment online if your program is always faulty or actually call to reschedule instead of me torturing my already sick dog by making him go on a unnecessary ride.

  Our two dogs Cata and Charlotte, are well cared for by the Banfield vets and the staff. Our two little poodle mixes are healthy and happy. Thank you Banfield for giving them excellent care.

  January 2023, our beloved Tommy, about 15 yrs old, had a couple of seizures within a month. The last one caused him to lose strength in all his limbs. We called and the receptionist was very understanding and accommodated us to bring Tommy in right away. Even though it was a sad decision, Dr. Wong and we all agreed that it’s time to let Tommy go so that he didn’t suffer any further. All the staff and the vet were very kind and caring to Tommy and to us during his final treatment, which made us feel less guilty to let him go! Then, yesterday, we received a sympathy card with lots of kind words from Dr. Wong and all the staff! It really touched our hearts! We’re very grateful to have found this clinic! Thank you to all of you from the bottom of our hearts! 🙏💕🙏💕 Due to the pandemic, they have a very efficient and safe way of checking in and taking our dog into the “patient ward”. Receptionist was very courteous and professional. After waiting in our car for about 10 min, The vet came out herself and discussed her findings and next steps. Then, an assistant brought our dog back out to our car, and we just waited for the blood test results in the parking lot. Later, the vet came out to our car to discuss with us the results and action plan. She was very detailed and patient with our questions while standing in the parking lot! Thank you so much, Dr!!!

  We found Dr. Haxby in our search to find a vet who was competent, capable and caring enough to remove a tumor in a very sensitive location on our chihuahua mix. The vets at our regular Banfield were not comfortable enough with their own skills to do the surgery and recommended we seek a specialist. After contacting several other veterinary offices we met with a specialist at Sage in Concord who concurred with the diagnosis and also confirmed the difficulty with removing the tumor. However their price to do the surgery was more than we were expecting and much to their credit they were understanding of our situation and gave us a couple of other options to check into. In the process of investigating those options we found Dr. Haxby. When my husband and I brought Daisy to see Dr. Haxby we were very impressed with the time she took to examine the tumor, her detailed explanation of how she would approach the surgery and the possible complications involved. We both felt as confident with Dr. Haxby as we would with anyone given the uncertainty that all the other vets and specialists expressed with the possible outcome. We are very grateful that Dr. Haxby was able to surgically remove the tumor successfully and our Daisy is recovering beautifully. We are very pleased with the quality of service of the entire staff and recommend Dr. Haxby especially in situations that require high level of skills and competency.
