Thank you to Dr Davis and Dr Kong (also Dante, super sweet tech we saw all the time! He was so gentle and patient with her. Sorry she hated the thermometer so much!!!) for almost 4 years of looking after our beloved super-senior calico kitty Birdie. She passed 6 months ago at almost 22-years-old. From monthly arthritis injections to bi-yearly senior blood panels (not to mention all the odds and ends in between), she was a frequent flier at CSAH.
They always treated us with respect, patience, and care; this cat was everything to me, and I was very much a helicopter pet-parent, but they were nothing less than patient and caring with my countless questions and concerns. Not to mention, any senior pet owner knows that care is costly, and they did their best to keep it reasonable and affordable in the long-term for us. Very rare to experience in the day and age of VCA or other corporate owned practices. They are small and rural, and it shows, but only in the best ways.
Thank you to everyone on staff. They sent the most touching card to us after Birdie’s passing, and we will remember them forever.
The only drawback (not willing to knock a star for this) is that hours are pretty hard to work around for meds and RX food. If you work regular weekday hours, you basically need to use their website for delivery or you’ll never be able to pick up your stuff. However that’s not necessarily uncommon for a small practice like this and I wouldn’t let it discourage you. They are great doctors and a lovely establishment, just plan ahead if you regularly need prescriptions.

It has gone down hill since Dr cook left. They are never open. And if they are it’s until 2pm you can never get an appointment with them. They declined my food order because they told me they have not seen my dog for a year and a half for an exam. Sure I get it But why have you been filling the food order for the past 6 months without contacting me telling me my dog needs an exam. Then I made an appointment to see them next week so she can get the food. But they will not give me any food to get her through until the appointment. The lady on the phone was extremely rude to me. I don’t recommend going there at all.

A gem of a vet in cotati. Got us in same day and the monoclonal antibodies shot our dog got for her seasonal allergies stopped the licking and itching overnight. No other vet has offered this easy and reasonably priced option for itch relief. It worked FAST and can last up to 6 weeks. No more shoving pills down her throat twice a day. Thank you!!

Really nice wonderful staff and doctors. You can tell they all really love animals and what they do. I also think they are one of the more reasonably prices vets in our area.
