  I’ve been bringing my pup to Unleashed by Petco (Chula Vista) for grooming for about 4 years, and the care has always been amazing. My dog can be sensitive and a little particular, but Espy is patient, sweet, and incredibly knowledgeable. She’s helped him feel comfortable over time and always treats him with genuine care. She’s also very observant — one of her recommendations actually led me to follow up with my vet for a possible health concern, which I really appreciated. Highly recommend Espy if you’re looking for a caring, skilled groomer in Chula Vista!

  I can’t say enough good things about Espy! From the moment we walk in, we always feel so welcome. She is friendly, professional, and clearly loves what she does. She does an amazing job on my Shih Tzu every single time — the cut is always perfect, clean, and exactly how I like it. My pup comes back looking adorable and well cared for. Appointments are always on time, and I get my dog back within a very reasonable amount of time, which I really appreciate. It’s such a smooth and stress-free experience from start to finish. We will absolutely always go back to Espy. Highly recommend!

  My favorite place for dog grooming! Espy is our go-to groomer (and the Salon Leader), and she’s truly the best. She goes above and beyond, our pups always leave happy and looking amazing 🐶 🤩 She’s knowledgeable, answers all our questions, and tailors the groom to what each dog needs. Highly recommend Espy if you want someone you can trust.

  You didn't have any of the dog food I was looking for or the prescription cat food I needed!! Your repeat delivery send the wrong dog food and didn't send the new one I ordered? Also, package not boxed properly, cat treat container arrived completely broken all the treats were all over the box. The canned dog food; which I had cancelled was smashed against the cat treat the completely distroyed the cat treat container

  I like this location of Unleashed at the corner of H close to the FWY. My dog's regular groomer is Espie although when she was out sick, my dog had other groomers. I say she survived without major anxiety. I took her one time at Petsmart to try their groomer since my neighbor spoke highly of her groomer there. Nothing compared to unleashed. I am able to get my discount without having to pay in advance like in Petsmart. They want you to pay in advance to get a $20 discount at Petsmart. Unleashed have Vets come to the store on some Saturdays and another day of the week also are affiliated with their Vetco clinic on Broadway. I find them easy to talk to. Aside from the grooming discount, the membership of $24.99 earns you coupons you can use for food or grooming services. Also, the Vetco consultation is free with membership which usually runs about $80 or more. I highly recommend this location especially for new puppies. We have been taking Cora there for about almost 5 years now. Also, the staff at the register are very helpful. They have new staff member, Kai who helped me with my bill. He was very patient and gave me lots of information. He was also helping another customer before me and gave him good advise to make his pooch more comfortable while inside a dog carrier. They really are sincere and they recognize me even if they are not Cora, my dog's regular groomer. April was also a groomer who took Cora once or twice when Espie was not available.
