This is not optional or cosmetic—it’s a serious diagnostic test. Yet the Banfield location in Chatsworth (91311) acted like scheduling it was a burden. They pushed back, resisted, and initially refused to book the appointment. It took a manager from another Banfield hospital calling them just to get an appointment made for today. That alone tells you how poorly this location is managed. When I arrived, I was 20 minutes late. I understand punctuality matters, but what happened next was unacceptable: they immediately used that as an excuse to refuse to perform the test, with zero effort to help or problem-solve. An LDDS test involves timed blood draws every 4 hours, so a professional clinic would explain options clearly, offer a modified plan if possible, or at minimum reschedule in a reasonable way. Instead, they acted like they were looking for a reason to turn us away. The practice manager, Katie, was hostile, dismissive, and confrontational. Her behavior was not just “busy” or “having a bad day”—it was outright disrespectful. I asked for the next available date or any alternative appointment, and she refused to schedule anything. No solutions. No accountability. No concern for my dog’s health. Just attitude. Bottom line: If your pet needs real medical attention and you expect basic professionalism, avoid this Banfield in Chatsworth. They wasted my time, added stress during a health issue, and showed zero empathy or willingness to help. I will not be returning, and I strongly suggest you take your pet to a clinic that actually cares and behaves professionally.
