Their team is great with Rolo since he’s a moody little dog since he’s gotten older this particular time he was really sick on Thursday and there was no openings till Tuesday, which would make him even worse. They took him in right away and fixed him up. Thank you, Banfield.

My dog doesn't really like going to the vet but I feel very confident and safe with leaving him in this staff's care. The doctor has a genuine love for animals and the front desk person is always super responsive and quick at her job.

I brought my dog to Banfield Hamilton because he had foul-smelling anal leakage (a classic sign of anal gland issues). They examined him, told me he was fine, and sent us home with a recommendation for a probiotic. I followed their advice and waited another week, trying the probiotic along with pumpkin and chia supplements. When the issue did not improve, I called Banfield again and was told the problem was likely continuing because my dog eats grass. After waiting two more days, I took my dog to MedVet for a second opinion. He was immediately diagnosed with an infected anal gland and now requires surgery. This was a clear misdiagnosis that delayed proper treatment and allowed the infection to worsen. As a result, what should have been a straightforward issue is now costing us thousands of dollars, not to mention the pain and stress my dog has endured. I am extremely disappointed in the lack of accurate diagnosis and follow-up. I would not trust Banfield Hamilton with anything beyond the most basic care.

Wish I could give 0 stars. I took my male cat for urinary problems and dropped him off at 10:15am. Dr. Miki Takehiro then called me at 12:59pm saying there was no infection or blockage and prescribed gabapentin for "stress", I asked if there was anything else they could do since I felt like something wasn't okay and she said to monitor him for 24 hours then they could do blood work or imaging. Since they are the VETS I trusted them and thought okay they checked him his going to be okay but no I should've insisted. I picked him up around 1:30pm and when I took him home he still didn't seem okay. He then started trying to pee in his litter box going in and out and little dots of urine and little spots of blood over the floor and bed. I rushed him to MedVet where they told me he was in fact blocked and he needed to have a catheter inserted asap, iv's, and multiple other stuff. my poor baby. it's so disappointing how could they miss that he was blocked within 1 hour after I took him home this all happened. Don't bring your pet here!! Customer service over the phone was not great either after I called to inform them what was happening. No compassion or "sorry" for what is going on. Really upset with this !
