I've been taking my dog here for about five years, and the people here have always been kind and helpful. Even though my dog is terrified of the vet as an event and hates coming, she is always happy to see all of the people, so I know they're good to her even when I'm not around. I do the vital care rewards and it helps a lot with costs all around.

My experience at VetCo in Burbank was disappointing enough that I strongly encourage anyone to go to Beverly Oaks Animal Hospital instead. Although the nurses and techs were kind, apologetic, and clearly uncomfortable with how the place is run, the clinic still charged me $140 for a visit where I was told I needed thousands in testing before they would offer any meaningful guidance—yet they couldn’t even tell me what was wrong. In contrast, Beverly Oaks’ Dr. Leach immediately identified the issue and solved it with a simple $10 recovery suit. If you want honest answers, practical solutions, and a team that truly cares about your pet, skip VetCo and go to Beverly Oaks.

HATE THIS CLINIC!! BEWARE!
These people are scammers. They have the WORST communication I have ever seen in my life. Any pet owner would agree that they want the best for their pet, and they prey on that. They know you want to ensure optimal health so they dangle an inflated package in front of you claiming its everything the animal needs. Yeah, right. As if my pet needs 3 shots of diphenhydramine every single time for $15 a pop or things'll get bad. They initially upsell you on packages, throwing in stupid things like medication as an upcharge. They are not clear at all on their fees. Stupid "clinic fees" are up to $70. If you buy a package be aware that your last visit will cost money regardless of it being built in. They do whatever THEY want to do with YOUR pet and do not communicate with you. A lot of them are either blasé or condescending and they are very sloppy. One tech will tell you something, another will dispel what you were told. I don't care how professional of a voice you put on, it doesn't mean you're ACTUALLY professional. I doubt a lot of these people are even trained correctly. They are too laid back and unconcerned with keeping neat communication even amongst team members. I have not enjoyed my experience at this clinic as a first time pet owner. Talking with other pet owners, they were never charged as much as I have been charged. They have tacked on fees last minute or done things behind my back to my pet without my consent. They tell you that you're only going to get charged X amount, and when the visit is over, you're paying 1,000,000 dollars for whatever reason. And for what? I doubt they get a single cut of the money they're yanking out of your hands.
The doctor, though he means well, is frantic and you cannot understand a single word he is saying. I think its sweet to love animals so much, but if my dog is having issues, I don't want to be talked over in baby-talk and told its something I know isn't the case causing illness.
If you need to talk to them directly, watch as yoh magically get transferred to India and THEN back to them. God forbid you want to speak to the clinic like a normal business.
If you want to be stressed and have your pockets emptied, I'd encourage you to come to this branch. If you want to stay afloat, seek care for your pet elsewhere. I do not, and will not ever recommend this scammy, unprofessional and uncommunicative location in any life.
0/5 stars and I want my money back!!!
