Banfield is a great place to take ur pet! Our dogs furry god mother Brittany is so amazing. Our 110 lbs rottweiler with anxiety is only comfortable if shes there ! The other staff is great too but Brittany is the sweetest kindest person that loves every 4 legged creature that comes in!

I came here late 2025 to have a Bravecto medication refill for seasonal allergies. My pug gets severe allergies. I have to get her Bravecto refilled whenever symptoms starts showing up. The timing this round was not convenient for me as I had just gotten out of a three month extended hospital stay where I was on life support following surgery and extensive blood loss. I left the hospital, completely emaciated, no legs or arms. The wind could blow me away. I was so thin it was scary. My dogs were staying with my mom who is older while I was in the hospital. I lost my job and my life was completely turned upside down. Of course, I needed to get the allergy medication refill during this time. I found Banfield pet Hospital offered first time patient coupons, since I’m located nearby I came here. This was the worst decision I ever made. I have never had an issue having an exam done on my dog. Maybe sometimes I will get a snarky attitude from the front desk person after I’m about to leave. Most of the time people tell me what an amazing dog I have. I was seen by a heavier set younger woman, with box died red hair, and a blonde white streak in her bangs. I should’ve known it was going to be bad however as an adult, I give people the benefit of the doubt…. She was cutting me down in every way shape and form during this exam. It was almost unbelievable. Her behavior really took me back. It was like she hated me and I didn’t know her name. She lied to me about doses for Bravecto in an effort to prove me wrong. Something that could kill an animal! She aggressively tried to upsell me on irrelevant services after I explained that I just got out of the hospital. It was like she had no emotions at all. I felt so uncomfortable in the appointment I got angry. She took my dog out of the exam room to the back, I could hear her saying nasty things about me to the doctor?!? When the doctor finally got in the room, I was so upset. I said I’m never coming here again, that lady is awful. The doctor looked at me like I was crazy and did literally nothing. Didn’t apologize, didn’t talk to me about my dog. Absolutely nothing. The same person who I just complained about came back in the room with my dog in her arms, standing across the room. Acting like shes holding my animal hostage. Her behavior literally scared me to death. I demanded my animal back, clearly uncomfortable. After that, they asked me to wait in the lobby. I was standing there with my dog and after about 25 minutes of both the front desk people giving me snarky nasty looks like teenagers, I took my dog home. I called them after leaving to schedule a pick up for the written prescription. The box died red haired girl answered and lied to me about service charges, trying to tell me I needed to pay something around $400 to get my prescription? So against the law it’s insane. I did not actually get the prescription until Monday. The situation was handled horribly by management afterwords. I spoke to some woman over the phone who kept trying to resell me on appointments at a different location? Calling me multiple times a day. Leaving long voicemails trying to sell me on appointments at another location. I will never take any of my animals to a Banfield hospital for the next 60 to whatever years I live on this earth. I submitted a complaint with the California state vet board and were investigated regarding this situation. They lost a customer for life. It was absolutely disgusting to even bring an employee so mentally ill to their staff. I was so deeply uncomfortable to come back here that I brought my mother. I was completely emaciated after my extend extended hospital stay. I looked sick. I was pale white. 40 pounds underweight. Anybody with two eyes could clearly tell I was sick and struggling. I did whatever I needed to for my animal. Absolutely sickening behavior to treat a fellow human being so low from multiple staff members too. This was such an awful situation. I would say it traumatized me, but I have clearly been through way worse and I’m still here.

I called several vets about my ten-year-old terrier's dental issues. Each vet started out cheap. However, when they added up the cost. All of them were the same price. Banfield had several monthly programs that were great for the wallet. I'm signing up and the next two days. Tartar was removed from my terrier. I liked the staff because they were knowledgeable, professional, and friendly. The doctor called and explained what to expect after surgery.
