  (Auburn Location) I can’t say enough good things about this place and the staff that works here. Its crazy to think a chain like Petco has an awesome veterinarian office as this one. I have taken my dogs here on 2 occasions in the last year and the service has been phenomenal. The first time, my dogs got really sick, from what I assume was from a bad batch of dog food. The vet (im sorry i forgot his name) was so extremely helpful in trying to diagnose and treat them without pushing for really expensive lab work. He was able to work with a fecal exam to rule out parasites and provided some prescription dog food which ended up clearing it all up. He was friendly, informative and caring. After getting his advice on good dog food, we made a switch and the dogs haven’t had any issues since. The vet tech was also gentle and informative as well. Most recently I took my dachshund in for a lump on her neck. Turns out she likely has a bad tooth. The female vet was very knowledgeable on her recommendations to treat this issue. The vet tech was also helpful in explaining the costs and breakdown of the treatment plan needed. I appreciate that they provided antibiotics to treat my dog’s infection immediately and also provided information on potential costs and payment options. I felt like they were both honest and there for the animals rather than some smaller vets that seem to rack on cost at every chance. We will be moving forward to complete the dental plan here as I felt that the staff would be compassionate and take good care of my dog. Please note, this rating is for the Auburn location ONLY. I did not experience the same feeling at the Folsom location AT ALL. I will only be going to this location moving forward.

  Really great experience. My boy isnt the easiest when at the vet and this team handles him so well while giving to quality care. Thank you to Dr Pettit and Brian for taking care of my pup!

  I really appreciate that did not try and up sale anything. That’s the reason I drove as the vets around here that’s all they do and it really makes my mood go from good to bad the moment they do that. So thank you very much for being better😊
