- SPSerena PulidoNov 16, 20255.0When I first began taking our Sophia to Petco she was very nervous but a sweet and patient groomer by the name of Maria was great with her. Unfortunately Maria left Petco and that is when our experience began going downhill. After a few visits I stopped taking Sophia because the groomers just weren't bathing and brushing her the way Maria did. They also weren't buffing her nails or cleaning her ears which I paid extra for. I've not had success in finding a new groomer and Sophia needed a proper bath and nail clipping so I gave in and made an appointment with Petco. To my surprise the groomer this time did an amazing job. Sophia smelled great, her ears were clean as a whistle, and her nails were in much better shape than I ever could have done. My husband picked up Sophia and didn't get the groomers name but she was great. We will go back as long as she is still working there.

She hadn't seen them in two months, due to our summer vacation. They were a little nervous going to get cleaned and Stephanie talked to them and welcomed them back. They calmed down immediately. She's an awesome groomer and person. I am so glad she has been a consistent employee because it ensures my girls get the same person every month. We have been clients of Atwater Petco since 2015.
