I explained that I planned to shop right after my guest arrived. Despite being disabled and accompanied by my clearly marked service dog, she still demanded that I wait outside. I told her it was too hot for me outside, but instead of offering any accommodation, she called security to kick me out. I’ve been a loyal Petco customer for years, using their dog training, grooming, and Pet Hotel services. Sadly, Genevieve only saw a Black woman waiting and chose to treat me with bias and disrespect.
