  I’m really disappointed with my experience here. The doctor spent less than a minute examining my dog before immediately quoting me around $1,000 for a surgery, claiming the toe could be saved. Based on the condition of the injury. it was already severely torn. it was hard to understand how that would have been possible. It honestly felt rushed and lacked proper evaluation or explanation. I couldn’t shake the concern that if I had gone through with the procedure, I might have later been told an amputation was necessary anyway, leading to even more costs and stress. I decided to seek a second opinion, and I’m very glad I did. Another vet confirmed there was no realistic way to save the toe. That alone made me question the initial recommendation. I paid $66 for the consultation, which ultimately felt like a waste, but I’m grateful I didn’t move forward with the surgery. More than anything, what stood out was the lack of empathy and care during the visit. As a pet owner, that’s something you really hope to feel especially in a stressful situation. Unfortunately, I won’t be returning.

  Dr. Toledo has really helped our dogs when they were terminally I'll. Helped navigate medications & a plan to keep them comfortable.

  Our kitten was diagnosed with pyometra and had a dangerously high fever of 104°F. We were quoted $2500-$15,000 at various clinics, which was unbelievable cost fluctuation…..The next day, I called around and found Dr. Dr. Basilio Toledo at Affordable Vet, who immediately stepped up and agreed to perform the surgery at incredibly price reduction. He not only saved our Zoe life but treated us with incredible care and compassion throughout. I can’t thank him enough and highly recommend him to anyone who needs an affordable, skilled, and caring veterinarian. Thanks Tom & Ryan

  Wow! Very impressed!! Thorough doctor, compassionate and caring staff. Well trained staff all around! Highly recommended!!! We are still impressed with the care our 12 year old dog received. So refreshing to receive accurate, loving care at the BEST price!!!
