Hello. My first visit with Vetco was good although I did not realize I had to respond to the email with a note to the text message with a three to report, but I was there. So the second time I made sure I responded in the text with a three and filled out the form. I got there early because I knew there would be a lot of people in line as before. I did not think I had to check in with a receptionist as I was told my first time all I had to do was respond on my. Phone. This time I waited while others around me were called. Finally I was asked if I checked in. I said no I thought all I had to do was text that information. They took me into the waiting area and said oh yes, I see where you checked in yet I was not called. Then I asked if I could sit down because at my age standing for long periods is not comfortable. I was told there’s too many people in this area so no you cannot sit down. Yet not a minute later there were more people in the waiting area not only sitting down but waiting to be seen. I looked at that being a black man as highly suspect.
Also, what really got me was I wanted a peel I flea peel for my dog. I wanted to buy an extra pill and not just buy one and have to come back every month to see the vet for another one. That could have happened but according to your policy had to spend what was it 200 or $400 for a four or six month supply? In today’s economy and how inconvenient it is for some of us to get out I find your policy, very restrictive and inconsiderate of pet owners on a budget.
So not only Do I believe I was treated unfairly, but that also your policies concerning flea medication does not regard the human aspect and is only geared towards profit making.

Got my pet a vaccine on 07/16, was told that I will get the certificate by email within 12 hours. Confirmed again after paying, tech- Alex Zavier was super rude, acted as if he was doing a favor and reiterated that he couldn’t do anything and I will have to wait for 12 hours.
1 week and no email, I call vetco, they tell me that are they are different from Petco and they don’t have any facility there etc.etc.
Then I call vetco and they transfer me to vetco and same story, this time they tell me that they cannot access vaccine clinics records and that they are not affiliated with vetco.
Basically, 6 calls later I had to visit this clinic on Sunday, spend 2 hours to prove that I paid and got my pet a vaccine here just to hear that they never entered that visit in their system.
Don’t know what’s going to happen next, I cannot vaccinate my dog twice because that’s lethal, cannot board her or take her to meetups because there is no record of that vaccine. Thanks you petco/vetco.
