Zero StarsI took my adopted cat in to get a micro chip. The price of $40 which was just about the same as everywhere else. However you have to pay another $50 to register it which they do not tell you! Do not use this service! They also made me get all of the vaccinations for the cat, "in case they got bit" which is not going to help anything if you get bit. By the way he didn't even flinch it getting the microchip. I felt they were very rude, and pushy trying to make me feel bad because I didn't want to inject the house cat with unnecessary vaccines. A 40.00 appointment turned into over $100. Then I'm required to pay another $50 to register the chip!? This is a scam do not use this place. I should have gone to ABC. I didn't want to stress my cat out in a long car ride. Now I will have to take him to another clinic to get him scanned to see if it's really registered with my name or if this is just another scam to get more money...

Worst vet clinic ever. First of all, they claim they made me a follow up appointment for my cats vaccines when I brought them by for the first round of their shots. Lo and behold I realize only in the weeks after the appointment they never bothered to do so. I then go through the trouble of making the appointment on the date they gave me during the first round of shots, and what happens? Morning of the appointment less than an hour before it starts, I get a notification that the appointment has been canceled. No explanation or reasoning given. Just a text message stating it's canceled. I then have to chase down a customer service person to speak to, because surprise surprise! Vetco on 22nd does not even offer the correct contact number on their website or Google page. The number listed is some after hours emergency care line. So now it's the day of my cats vaccines being due and suddenly I have no appointment and no means to get them their follow up vaccines. Needless to say, I will never ever bring my pets to a Vetco again. I should've known better, but as a new cat mom I trusted that bringing them here for some quick shots would be fine. I was extremely wrong. That's also without even addressing the rude "manager" from the Petco itself who I was forced to speak to when calling about this issue. Steering clear of all Petcos and Vetcos from here on out.

The ONLY part that I have always been displeased with is you are not taken in by the time of your appointment but by who is next in line. What is the point of an appointment? People were taken in that had appointments after me.
