- JJJunkoDec 21, 20253.0UPDATED Petco was accommodating and quick to fix their oversight. This time, Shelley helped us, and she is exactly as wonderful as all the other reviews say. 5 stars to her! My big frustration is that the only reason I had for coming here in the first place was to help with my super busy schedule... but in the end, it took just as much of my time as if I had groomed her myself (because this location isn't close to my house--chose it because I would be in the area at the time.) Anyways, I will only go back if Shelley is available. ORIGINAL I usually do all my dog's grooming at home, so this was my first time taking her to a pet store for grooming, hoping to help with my busy schedule. I paid for a bath with the upgraded shed release (that is, deshedding shampoo, de-shedding coat brushing, teeth clean and nail buffing) and specifically asked upon drop-off about gland expression and nails. I was assured that both were included. Got my dog back and didn't realize until we were home that her nails, teeth and glands hadn't been touched at all. 😑 While my dog is a little anxious, she is completely non-reactive, so I am positive it wasn't because of her behavior. Will not be returning to this location.
