    The Vetco Clinic Staff absolutely fantastic/5 stars great with pets; The Petco store Mgr. & Assistant Mgr. very surly, they should try another line of work if they do not like dealing with people, this Petco is closest to me, looking for another Petco location to shop.

    Today I had the very sad misfortune to have dealings with the store manager. I needed a refund that was promised by the central customer service team for an unsatisfactory dog grooming situation. The store manager was rude, condescending, and humiliated me at the cash register in front of staff and other customers. Despite the promise by customer service, the manager refused to give a full refund and we only received a partial refund. I don’t understand why she was so rude to me and as a senior citizen I felt unsafe. I left the store immediately and will never go back.

    We had a terrible dog grooming experience today. We've been taking our elderly dog to this location since 2018 and have never had a problem until today. 1. When we picked our dog up, the associate was rude and condescending, asked how old our dog was, then insisted that there is an upper age limit for dogs to get groomed and that they won't see him again. I can't see that anywhere on Petco's website and it's never been a problem before. 2. The groomer did not follow our request for the specific trim and services we've always had, and decided to do a bath only instead. A bath for $65? That's daylight robbery. 3. I called the store and spoke to the manager, who was just as unhelpful. She claimed our dog was stressed after being bathed so they were unable to go ahead with a haircut. I asked why no-one called us to tell us our dog was stressing out and she had no response. She then told me that $65 for a bath is their standard fee, but that's not the pricing on the website, so we were lied to. A rude associate, a rude manager, no care for an elderly dog who's stressed out, and daylight robbery on prices. We won't be going back to Petco again for vaccinations, supplies, or grooming, which we've done for years and years. Bye bye Petco. PS Petco, please don't respond telling me to call the store like you did everyone else. I tried that and got no answers and zero empathy from the store manager. Update: After calling the central customer service number, who were kind and empathetic, we were told to go back to the store for a full refund under their 100% satisfaction guarantee and that they would pass that message on to the store. Today, my dad went and asked for the refund. The store manager was rude to him, humiliated hm at the register in front of other customers, and refused to give the full refund. We only received a partial refund. I called and gave this update to the customer service team who promised to pass this up to senior management. This store manager needs either training in company policy and customer service, or she needs to be replaced.
