- AMAlicia MedinaJan 25, 20261.0I was very disappointed today, this is the 2nd Banfield I have been to in Arizona and for the second time the vets have done nothing to take care of my cat. I have never had an issue with taking my fur baby to a vet until here. My cat needs to be seen and she feels comfortable with me. All the vet had to do was look at her nipple to tell me if something was normal or not. The vet doctor refused to come in the room where I was with my cat to even try and look. She didn't even come to introduce herself like most vets do. Im really thinking of leaving Banfield altogether and get some different insurance. The Banfield is nothing like how California's Banfield is. 4 years never an issue until now. I was also told that the vet doctors in Banfield dont do any part of an exam in the room with you and that is a lie. My last doctor I had at Banfield recommended I be in the room with my cat during the exam, my cat did so much better with me there. Another thing was when I got there, I had an appointment at 10:30 am and there was nobody at the desk for at least 10 min. I arrived at 10:25 and didn't see anyone until 10:35.

What is an Optimum Wellness Plan?
Optimum Wellness Plans are designed to provide annual preventive care. They include head-to-tail exams, vaccines, early screening diagnostics, consultations for proper nutrition, dental care and more! Since wellness plans are not insurance, they do not include treatment for unpredictable or abnormal conditions, however discounts would apply. Because pets need ongoing preventive care, wellness plans automatically renew at the end of each twelve month period (unless paid in full at enrollment).
How do I pay for an Optimum Wellness Plan?
You can spread the cost of your wellness plan across the 12 months of your annual agreement to make it easier to budget for the essential health care your pet needs. Your monthly payments can be automatically withdrawn from a checking or savings account or charged to a credit card so that you don’t have to worry about them once you enroll. We also offer the option of paying in full if you prefer.
