  After 11 years of being a loyal customer, Petco refused to groom my dog because of his age. They fired their best groomer, Marisa. I will never be taking any of my pets to this Petco going forward. I will be looking for Marisa online since she was always the best. This Petco has a staffing problem, very unprofessional. How disappointing!

  The cost increases every time I take my dog in for a grooming. Employees go & come to often, which indicates to me they are unhappy. The additional "material fee" charge is outrageous. Oddly when i dropped my dog off no other customers or dogs in sight same thing when I picked up my dog. The fill in manager was rude & a little to bossy for me. I felt very uncomfortable on my last visit to petco & will be looking for a new dog groomer after 8 or more years. So sorry Petco, this store has a employee problem.

  Groomers quit. No phone call to cancel. I arranged my day around a grooming appointment and not even a courtesy call to cancel, just a sign on the door saying no groomers available. As a matter of fact, I got an appointment reminder text that morning. (2/22) Yet they require substantial notice if you need to cancel appointment. I found this to be incredibly unprofessional to do to a client. I left my phone number and asked for a manager to call me…..which never happened.

  Marissa, the pet stylist, is my favorite groomer and the only reason I go to Petco. She's passionate about her work, kind, professional, and skilled. My dog loves her. Always does a great job! Thank you Marissa! You rock!

  refused vaccinations ? my cousin is going through a tough time and had to find homes for his new kittens. knowing she hasn't been vaccinated, I scheduled to get her shots the same day he was dropping her off, as he is tight on money. I picked one of the later times, 5:10p. when we got there the vet said I need to have her in my care for a week before they can vaccinate .... why does the VETCO website say the opposite? "If your pet's vaccination history is unknown, we must assume the pet has not been vaccinated and our veterinarians may recommend completing the series to ensure your pet is fully protected" even though I know she isn't vaccinated, the website also says "What happens if I missed my puppy or kitten's booster vaccines? - Vaccinate as soon as possible if your pet misses a vaccination." (see FAQ's on Vetco's website to find these). I've already got a cat at home, and they want me to keep them separated for a week ? I have to keep one in a room at all times? lazy doctors are not real doctors. Whoever is the "vet" here has no motivation and clearly wanted to leave early. I tried to call back just to ask some questions to understand better- I’m no vet! - but the vet left. Before the vet hours were said to close. Told me all I needed to know!
