- FFFelicia6 days ago1.0These people need to learn how to do their jobs, from management down to associates. We have a cat that needs prescription food after a $4500 surgery. We sign up in PETCO's prescription book they use to keep track of customers with prescriptions for said special food. After a couple months, they throw this book away without telling their customers. We were turned away and were told we needed a new prescription. We come back with a prescription and they still reject us. The prescription was provided by a 24 hr animal hospital. They could have verified right then and there. We had to get regional management involved and the management finally allowed us to fill our cat food prescription, albeit with a rude attitude and saltiness for being wrong. We appreciate the Regional Manager "John" for helping us, but we don't plan on coming back here. Multiple "managers" in store who held authority of "responsible charge" and they showed complete incapability. I recommend PETCO reevaluate who they have representing their brand. They could have done more, chose not to, and were subsequently rude for being shown their inadequacy. This is not leadership.
