    Usually not a bad experience here but today I think her name was Z , she's needs to be taught communication skills or something , I was getting ready to pay and I seen a light on and no one at a register , she's helping another customer at another register no light on and I asked hey is this one open and she stares at me with a face like she doesn't want to be there I ask her a total of 3 times until she turns her light on , whole time I give her back the same energy i proceeded to let her know I have a coupon and she "huh"s me 3 times! Don't want to work there find another place simple !

    I’m still upset thinking about what happened to my dog, Yuki, at this Petco. I trusted them with her, and they gave her half a haircut, left her soaking wet, and then shut her in a kennel where she cried and barked nonstop for 30–45 minutes. Hearing her distress—and knowing she was alone, confused, and uncomfortable—broke my heart. What hurts the most is that she wasn’t treated with the basic care or kindness any animal deserves. She wasn’t comforted, she wasn’t finished, and she wasn’t even dried. She was just left there… scared, wet, and calling out for help. No explanation. No reassurance. Just neglect. I walked in expecting a simple grooming appointment. Instead, I walked out feeling like I’d failed my dog by trusting the wrong place. Petco needs to take a hard look at how they treat the animals in their care, because no pet—and no owner—should ever go through this.

    The store employees have always been very nice, so I thought I would try the grooming services. Left our one year old puppy with them, and halfway through the grooming, they crated her while wet, which she responded very negatively to. Other groomers can literally bathe, blow dry, and haircut in an hour and a half without leaving the dog. I do not understand why my dog had to go into the kennel at all during the process.

    Extremely disappointed with the lack of professionalism at this Petco. I asked who I believed was the manager why my dog’s grooming suddenly cost more and took significantly less time than usual. Her response to past experiences was, “I don’t know what to tell you, I’m not that groomer.” She claimed the higher price was because my dog was “super matted,” which might explain the cost but not the shorter timeframe, it should’ve taken longer, not less time. When I pointed that out, she changed her answer to say it depends on the groomer’s experience.I also mentioned that as the manager, she should know her staff and why it takes some longer than others, and she didn’t correct me only later did I find out she wasn’t even the manager. Completely unacceptable! Pricing, timing, and communication should be consistent and transparent. Customers deserve honesty and accountability, not excuses.
