I scheduled an appointment for my new kitten midnight over a week ago for 11/29 @ 11 am. I They asked if I had prior vet documentation, which I don't because the kitten is young. I mentioned he was found. And I was denied services because I "hadn't had her for 2 weeks yet" I went back to check when he was found and it's been over two weeks. I called back to let them know, NO ANSWER. So I just scheduled it again. But then they call me 10 minutes later this time saying that they can't see new pets. I told them that I had the original appointment already set. And they proceeded to tell me that they couldn't see him, this time because I haven't put up a social media post about having found him? I would have no issue posting it today and showing them had I been made aware? Never have I known this to even be a thing, and I USED to work here over a year ago at the Christown location. So, I don’t know what they’re on about. If you made a scheduling mistake or if you're not seeing new pets JUST SAY THAT. What a waste of time for guests. Calling 30 mins before an appointment set almost 2 weeks ago to cancel it over some made up reason? Be serious. THEY DIDN'T EVEN OFFER TO RESCHEDULE!

The team was so helpful and compassionate through the whole teeth cleaning process for my dog. She is extremely nervous when going to the vet, they were understanding and offered solutions to ease her worries.

Loved this practice for the better part of five years but lately things have been on a decline. Not sure what happened but the front office staff used to be great. My interaction with the scheduler today sealed the deal for me. She called to confirm an appointment that they had changed before contacting me. When I asked why (she referenced a policy that had never come up over the years) she immediately got defensive an referred back to the policy. I asked if it was a Banfield policy or that vet's policy and when she told me it was the vet's I asked her to cancel my appointment. Five minutes on the phone with the team at 7th ave and Shea and they not only scheduled our pet but they shifted some things around so they could get him in before my family leaves town for an extended vacation. Shame on Shea and bravo to the 7th an Bell team.
