Took my old dog here to be euthanized, because he’s old and has bad teeth and is in pain. I should have cancelled the second I found out the vet was in a pets smart. The vet really wanted to extend his life, didn’t look at his pained area or take any tests or even examine them for more then 2 minutes. They Just recommended throwing money at an old dog and made the whole situation awkward and an awful situation worse. Now my dog is going to suffer for another day and I’m taking him to a real vet tomorrow, luckily my regular vet is able to squeeze me in since this is an emergency. The front desk and assistants were nice at least.
***Update***
After taking my dog to a real vet, they listened to my concerns and actually inspected my dog and found a tumor in his mouth; which Banfield would have been able to find if they spent more then 2 seconds looking at my dog. The real vet was able to sedate my dog and put my extremely old dog out of their misery. I am so happy I have them.

Not very helpful people don't ever get their contract for the wellness they don't explain it correctly they don't help you when your pet passes away you're still liable for something that wasn't explained it's very sad having to continuously pay and reminded that your pet is no longer here

Recently took my schnoodle in for persistent blood in urine. Put him on the wellness plan, X-rays showed multiple bladder stones. Had great service from Melissa, she was very kind, tentative and made sure we were taken care of. Dr Tim was also outstanding, kind, explained everything and gave recommendations. I usually always get great care here! Thanks!

The staff at this clinic has always been friendly and professional, but my experience with the clinic’s policies and continuity of care has been challenging.
I first brought my dog in for allergy issues and was prescribed Apoquel. I was told it was safe and effective, with no mention of any required testing. Later, when I attempted to refill the prescription, I was informed that a blood test was required to ensure the medication wasn’t causing harm. This test cost multiple hundreds of dollars. The results were normal, and I was approved for several months of refills.
When I tried to refill the medication again, the request was denied—not for medical reasons, but because a different doctor, who had never seen my dog, was on duty. I was told I needed another appointment before they would authorize the refill. During this delay, my dog’s symptoms worsened and led to an infection.
At the follow-up appointment, the new doctor performed another full exam even though an established plan was documented by the previous doctor. I was told this was standard for a new provider. The infection was addressed, but the allergy treatment plan was reset to the exact same dosage and schedule that had already been documented as ineffective. I asked about adjusting the dosage based on the prior doctor’s notes, but was told the provider wanted to restart from the beginning.
At this point, I have seen three different doctors from the same location, each restarting the evaluation rather than continuing or adjusting the documented treatment plan.
When I asked about continuity of care, management explained that the clinic has only one regular doctor, and when that doctor is unavailable, clients cannot choose their provider. This structure leads to repeated costs, inconsistent decisions, and difficulty maintaining steady progress on a treatment plan.
The staff has consistently been kind and professional, but the policies and lack of provider continuity have made follow-up care, prescription management, and treatment adjustments very difficult.

We also offer the option of paying in full if you prefer.
