Looking for convenient animal care in or around near Paradise Valley Village in Phoenix, AZ? Make an appointment at Banfield Pet Hospital, a full-service general practice for pets. Conveniently located on East Shea Boulevard, across from Shea Plaza and a variety of shops, we serve a wide range of Phoenix neighborhoods, including Shea Park, Desert Gardens, Cactus Manor, and more. Our vet clinic is ideal for taking care of your furry friends with a veterinary team that provides variety of petcare services, including microchipping, vaccinations, and spays and neuters for cats and dogs.
This is, without question, one of the most inept, incompetent, and outright incapable veterinary facilities you could ever trust with your pets. And to be clear, this isn’t just about one location—this has been our consistent experience across multiple Banfield clinics over the years.
The pattern of misdiagnoses, poor care, and general negligence is staggering. I could easily write an entire book detailing how badly our pets have been handled. Looking back, I feel foolish for not canceling their Wellness Plan much sooner.
Do yourself a favor and stay far away from Banfield. This isn’t just subpar service—it’s a complete failure of what a veterinary provider should be.

I scheduled an appointment for my new kitten midnight over a week ago for 11/29 @ 11 am. I They asked if I had prior vet documentation, which I don't because the kitten is young. I mentioned he was found. And I was denied services because I "hadn't had her for 2 weeks yet" I went back to check when he was found and it's been over two weeks. I called back to let them know, NO ANSWER. So I just scheduled it again. But then they call me 10 minutes later this time saying that they can't see new pets. I told them that I had the original appointment already set. And they proceeded to tell me that they couldn't see him, this time because I haven't put up a social media post about having found him? I would have no issue posting it today and showing them had I been made aware? Never have I known this to even be a thing, and I USED to work here over a year ago at the Christown location. So, I don’t know what they’re on about. If you made a scheduling mistake or if you're not seeing new pets JUST SAY THAT. What a waste of time for guests. Calling 30 mins before an appointment set almost 2 weeks ago to cancel it over some made up reason? Be serious.
THEY DIDN'T EVEN OFFER TO RESCHEDULE!

If I could give this corrupt organization 0 stars I absolutely would. By far the worst experience with them and we will be contacting corporate about the issues we have been having. I am going to recommend to everyone I know with a pet not to use them and to steer clear. So disappointed and money wasted!

We also offer the option of paying in full if you prefer.
What kind of appointment do I have?
• In-room appointments: You and your pet visit the vet together. Please arrive a few minutes before your appointment time
• Drop-off appointments: If you have a drop-off appointment, we will communicate a time to drop off your pet. Keep your phone nearby and we’ll call you when your pet is ready for pickup.
