    DO NO GO TO BANFIELD. YOUR PET WILL BE BETTER OFF, ANYWHERE ELSE. TRULY. Let me preface this with the fact that I have been a wellness care member with them for 6 years. I am extremely disappointed in my recent experience. I brought my dog in for a scheduled in-room recheck blood test appointment. I was told after arrival that the doctor was going to lunch and I would need to convert to a drop-off visit instead. I explained that my dog has a documented seizure disorder and that a previous drop-off at Bandfield resulted in her having a seizure and me being called to rush her an emergency hospital because the clinic could not treat her. Despite this, I was refused care unless I left her, even though I had taken time off work and was willing to wait until the doctor returned. What makes this worse is that I am now being told I must pay $265 (half of the $531 cancellation dues) to end the wellness plan because I no longer feel my dog is safe receiving care here. Charging any sort of cancellation due when a client is leaving due to safety concerns and inability to provide appropriate care is unreasonable. Pet owners deserve compassion, accommodation for medical conditions, and accountability. Unfortunately, this experience showed none of those.

    So disappointed. Entire staff has recently turned over, clearly something is going on. Summary of recent experiences are incompetence, negligence, and malpractice. Update, we just had to put our 8 year old dog down because of the complete negligence by this banfield location and their staff. Now working with a vet malpractice attorney so others dont have to go through what we just did. Insult to injury, after their negligence led to the death of our dog, they wont let me cancel my wellness plan when I went in. I need call a 1-800 number during business hours. After killing my dog you have the nerve to make it as difficult as possible to cancel my dead dogs wellness plan.. Un real. You want to address my concerns? You want to bring my dog back from the dead and reimburse me for the $5,000 I spent at an emergency clinic only to find out that you contributed to the obstruction in my dogs small intestines that led to her death? The fact that you didnt do any of the tests I authorized to prevent this from happening, or the fact that you fed my dog without our authorization which led to a complete blockage in the small intestine... Absolutely disgusting, I have never witnessed anything like this in decades of dog ownership.... A veterinary Malpractice attorney will be in touch with you about my concerns very soon. Along with the vetinary medical association and the state licensing board.

    I love Banfield. My pup can get really nervous in the world but I can tell she likes the people at Banfield because shes never too scared to go back without me. Theyre always so nice, friendly, and willing to hear me out about any concern I have for my pup. We recommend!
