If I could give 0 stars, I would. This vet is only there for certain hours on Sunday to give vaccinations. I went today, and it was disorganized. They ask you to arrive 10 minutes prior to your appointment, which is fine; it's inside a Petco so you can wander around with your dog, but the set up is terrible. I went in today, early, as asked, and when I try to go over to the Vet Care center, I was told to check-in with a woman in the middle of the store...it was awkward, and disorganized. There was a woman there with a puppy (who wouldn't stop barking at my dog and me) and another bigger dog (that the woman's friend/relative didn't seem to be able to control) and we stood there for several minutes while they chatted for several minutes about God knows what...after a while I wound up leaving without checking in (by the time I got back to the car, it was a minute past my scheduled appointment time and they were still trying to get those 2 other dogs sorted out). To be clear: I'm not annoyed that they were helping another customer; I'm well aware the world doesn't revolve around me and my dogs (although I'm not saying it shouldn't...lol jk), but the whole process is A CHAOTIC MESS.
Also worth mentioning: It's 28 minutes past my scheduled appointment time and I JUST NOW got a text message thanking me for informing them that I've arrived and asking me to check in...well after I walked out. This illustrates my point perfectly: they're a DISORGANIZED MESS!
If I ever try the Vetco experience again, it won't be at the Maricopa location, that's for sure...but I think I'll be better off taking the drive to see my regular vet who has a wonderful team and actually gives a damn about her patients and her owner's time.
Edited to add: AND NOW THEY JUST SENT ME VAX RECORDS FOR MY DOG THAT THEY NEVER SAW (and will NEVER see)!
