This is in regards to my second dog that I have taken to vetco for vaccines. I purchased again the puppy packet that is three visits and includes microchip. I had just got my dog at 8 months old the week before I took for his first round of vaccines 9/28. After he got a slight case of diarrhea which is a normal side effect of the dewormer given at the time of the visit. His diarrhea resolved within two days and he was back to normal. Went today for his 2nd set of vaccines and was asked if there were any side effects. Explained the events and also explained that his food was changed at the same time (since we had just got him). The young girl checking us in said they could not give him any further vaccines since he had side effects. Side effects that are normal and completely common. This is how it works to kill and eliminate the worms. I was told I could go to a full service vetco to continue with my vaccine package. That is an hour trip to Chandler and another hour back to Maricopa. This was not a reasonable solution to this issue. I asked the young girl to speak with her supervisor and was told she has no supervisor. Im pretty sure this girl was not the head of vetco vaccine clinics so I responded that everyone has a supervisor and to get me in contact with that person. She gets someone on her cell phone that identifies herself as Amanda the supervisor (of the girl that had no supervisor) and repeats the same thing the girl had said. Finally she says she can refund the vaccines that I am unable to receive and that the young girl will get my info. After confirming that the young girl has the correct information she says that her supervisor will contact me with the refund info. I ask the girl for her supervisor's contact information so that I can contact if I do not hear back she tells me she can not give me the supervisors personal information. I again asked for her business contact information and not her personal. The manager for Petco, not vetco came and apologized for what was happening and gave me customer service number and suggested taking my issue there. Also, at the same time made sure I was aware they were not the same company. What I was told was vetco policy is that they can not continue vaccines if there are ANY side effects. There are common side effects listed the the paperwork they give you and when to be concerned ie severe diarrhea which is not what we explained was what we experienced. My problem is that this young girl was given key words to look for and what to respond with. No knowledge of vaccines or what is normal. My time was wasted. My dog is not receiving the services I have already paid for. I have to wait for 3-5 weeks for the refund. Poor customer service, lack of knowledge and services not received. At this time I have five dogs. Have had many dogs in my lifetime. Will never spend another dollar at vetco. I had previously recommended to several people I know and will make sure they are aware of this as well. Sorry this is so long but the details matter.

Long lines, lack of organization, making an appointment is a joke, and the records that was supposedly sent to my email did not arrive. They were great with my pups, that's the only reason they scored a 3 star review
