  You know I've liked petco until now but refusing to sell fish because they dont know what I have at home. Pre determining your tank or tanks without seeing it. Yet claim what is best for the fish. Is this what is best for the fish? Or your dead snails in the tanks? PS. looks like you guys need to put some time in and clean up under your tanks as well.

  Dr. Ruiz and his veterinary team are amazing! Reina was very well-behaved during her visit, and they made sure she received all the care and vaccines she needed. The whole team was gentle, attentive, and professional from start to finish. I truly appreciate how patient they were and how comfortable they made Reina feel.   Recently got a new tank, and Nico’s been incredibly kind every time we go in. He’s always quick to help and really knowledgeable about anything I need. The animals are healthy, well cared for, and always have a variety of plants available.

  Went to petco to buy some supplies for my current fish tank that I have and found a sweet little betta with holes in his fins, crooked body and floating in his side unable to swim, I went to go ask if they do discounts on ill fish because I’d like to take him home and try to save him, the dude with a bald head was extremely rude and didn’t even let me finish asking my question before he interrupted me with “no!” I asked why and he said that’s per his manager (shame on you manager for caring more about money then the well being of your pets in your store) I did my research before posting this and they CAN give discounts but they choose not to. Bald dude proceeded to take the fish out of my hand and put it on the back side of his counter. I reached back over and grabbed the fish and said I was going to be buying him regardless and tried to walk away and he asked where I was taking him and proceeded to tell him to buy him a set up so he has a chance of living, I kept on walking and he kept trying to argue with me. Poor management and a bad employee with a bad attitude. These are the people you trust to take care of animals. lol. All because they wanted $14.99 for a fish who is on the verge of dying. Pathetic if you ask me.
