My dog went into the clinic for teeth cleaning and when we went to pick her up her hip was out of joint. She had never had hip problems. They said that they weren’t responsible. We paid them a lot of money to put her hip back in on the next day. When we picked her up the hip was back out again. They refused to refund any money.

My cat had asthma (i had never had a cat with asthma before) and Vet did not catch it or understand what was wrong with my cat. Three different appointments and two medications. I put my trust in the Vet as she said the medication would help him. They forced me to pay for the third appointment after Vet told me to rush him to an emergency vet. Spent 3k at ER for something so simple that had turned into URI. Do not waste your time and money, go to an actual vet and save your pet’s life.

Never sign up for Banfield. They can never see your dog, never dispense medicine. Absolutely a waste of money. Find a private vet and you’re going to be better off. If you want to cancel the plan you have to pay the rest of the year as well. You don’t get your money back.

Ive trusted banfield to care for my pups for years and love their wellness plan. The plan ensures that my dogs get the regular care and screenings they need with the exception of valley fever testing. With valley fever being so common in Arizona it should be added to the plan.

I’ve been taking my senior dog Boots to this office for about two years. We had just moved to the Queen Creek area and we had to find a new vet for him since our previous beloved vet was too far from our new home. We had originally planned on taking him to the Banfield in Queen Creek but opted to bring him to this Banfield in Gilbert since they were able to see him quicker. Boots has had a number of minor health issues over the past couple of years, all of which have been handled appropriately at this office. It’s really hard to tell whether your pet is getting adequate care during drop off appointments, however, this office is outstanding as I’ve been called a number of times about issues that would’ve only been caught with a thorough head-to-toe exam. Most recently, Dr. Gonzalez diagnosed Boots with a retinal detachment and recommended that I take Boots to an eye specialist. Our new ophthalmologist confirmed Dr. Gonzalez’s finding and praised Dr. Gonzalez as she stated that most doctors wouldn’t have detected this. Boots is so lucky to have found a caring and attentive doctor, Dr. Gonzalez, and I wanted to express my gratitude for caring for my pet as if he were her own.

What is an Optimum Wellness Plan?
Optimum Wellness Plans are designed to provide annual preventive care. They include head-to-tail exams, vaccines, early screening diagnostics, consultations for proper nutrition, dental care and more! Because pets need ongoing preventive care, wellness plans automatically renew at the end of each twelve month period (unless paid in full at enrollment).
How do I pay for an Optimum Wellness Plan?
You can spread the cost of your wellness plan across the 12 months of your annual agreement to make it easier to budget for the essential health care your pet needs. Your monthly payments can be automatically withdrawn from a checking or savings account or charged to a credit card so that you don’t have to worry about them once you enroll. We also offer the option of paying in full if you prefer.
What kind of appointment do I have?
• In-room appointments: You and your pet visit the vet together. Please arrive a few minutes before your appointment time
• Drop-off appointments: If you have a drop-off appointment, we will communicate a time to drop off your pet. Keep your phone nearby and we’ll call you when your pet is ready for pickup.
