I usually order on line but I went into the store and the cost was 5.00 more for my cat food. I asked why it was higher and the cashier said , “ oh it’s more if you buy in store. They want you to order on line and pick up. I could have matched the price but now it’s too late. “. You would think they would want people to come in a shop and buy more.

With regards to the grooming: If you're a minute late they'll make you reschedule, if you're on time your dog will sit in a tiny cage for 3 hours before they actually start grooming (we've waited for as long as 6 hours after we dropped them off before). The staff is generally surly and unpleasant, checking your dog in without even so much as looking up at you is common. There's an air of misery about the groomers; like they're upset that you've come to their store. Not to mention the aggressive practice of making you verbally announce how much you're tipping the groomer, they won't let you handle the pen yourself like a typical transaction, they make you announce it for them to write down (reminiscent of the South Park episode of Whole Foods).

Had an absolute horrible experience with Luis today. I went in to pick up my online order and they gave me a cat litter bag that had been sliced and taped back together. That's both unsanitary and unethical. When I switched the bag for another one on the shelf and made a comment to the staff about how they shouldn't be trying to sneak in damaged products to online pick up orders, Luis said "well that's what happens with online orders." He promptly walked away (likely thinking I would leave, but I stayed put because I wanted to understand why he would say something so appaling to a customer). When he returned to the register I asked him to repeat his comment and he tried so say that I misunderstood him. After some unproductive back and forth about how he shouldn't dismiss customer concerns like that he said I'm too busy for this and walked away again. If Luis is the general manager, he needs some serious retraining on both customer service and the ethical sale of animal products. No damaged items should be knowingly given to customers, period. This damaged bag was picked by an employee and Luis still wouldn't acknowledge the mistake and instead tried to gaslight me about his own comments and then dismiss me like there wasn't a problem. Edited to add: I called the phone number they listed in their reply and of course it's a call center who claimed they would look into it and talk to the employee in question in 2-5 business days. Absolutely no accountability for their actions.
