She left his hair longer which I love, most of the time they shave almost all of it off. She also did a great job on his tail and face. He looks so good! She was very kind and great with him! - RSRusty ShaklefordFeb 6, 20261.0Very disappointing experience. I usually take my dog to the location on Guadalupe road for grooming and have used Petco for years now. The Guadalupe location is fantastic and I've never had any issues there. I had to take my dog to this location because our regular spot was all booked up. When picking my dog up after her grooming I was informed that my account has been placed on a "call in for booking only" restriction across all locations because my dog (she's a tiny Shih Tzu) has back leg issues (which I always inform them of at pre-check in) and they need 2 groomers on premises to be able to take her... As I said I've been using PetCo as my groomer for years and this has NEVER been an issue at their Guadalupe location. The reason I like using PetCo is because of the convenience of booking on the app whenever grooming is needed. I don't know that I'll be using PetCo in future if I need to call in from this point forward. They clearly need better training at this location if the Guadalupe location has zero issues with taking my dog at whatever time but this spot needs to have 2 groomers present.
