I shop here often (since it’s the closest pet store to me) and while I know what to expect when I do go here- more of a self serve, no one really around for help, and normally one cashier- tonight really exasperated the customer service altogether. I got to the register and said Hi! Do you honor the 20% off coupon online in store too and Liza rudely responds, “why”….. Well Liza- because you have it online- as I told her, “ because its online and I didn’t know if that applied in store as well”. She responded rudely again, “well then it’s online”- as in, if I’m stupid or something. I just said “Okay, well that’s what I was asking”. Next, I had asked her about a shirt and if they had it online, and she stated she didn’t know….. A few things to note here -Lack of not only product knowledge, but promotional knowledge and self awareness. Hoping she just had a bad day or maybe she’s like a better stock person, who even knows! But someone definitely needs to have a coaching conversation with her about those things or just don’t have her on the register. This was honestly easily avoidable, but overall not a great end to my night as I don’t have time for people who don’t want to do their job to the best of their ability, if they even have that ability. Have a better night Liza!
