Absolutely disgusted. I’ve been having my eyes on this wonderful one eared fancy male mouse that showed up at their shop recently and now it’s on the verge on death because they’re housing that male mouse with another male mouse. One thing about male mice, you don’t pair them together, EVER. I politely asked an employee about it, about taking one of them in cost free since he was injured, had me speak with the manager, and all the manager said is “we’ll separate them & that we don’t discount animals” yet had over a week to separate these mice since I last saw these boys. I originally came in to buy a basking light for my gecko, decided I wouldn’t be supporting this store anymore, I left without making a purchase since I was on a verge of tears. I don’t plan on returning. Which is extremely inconvenient, because I get lots of my hamster, mice, and reptile items/food from this location since it’s the closest to our house. It’s not only the mouse situation but they also pair solitary animals together like hamsters, you’ll often see them “play fighting” hamsters don’t play fight, they fight, because they’re solitary. I tried applying for work last year too, no resentment from that, but I applied so that I can help educate their team on exotic animals and care for the babies so that customers can have an enjoyable experience. As a customer today, I had an awful experience. This really sucks. :/

Positive customer service experience during my checkout recently. I frequent this store when I’m in the area. The cashier was pleasant and ready to assist. Loon forward to shopping here again. Cashier Iliana was awesome!

Chico loves going to petco to get his food. Whenever we are going somewhere close by it, he gets so excited he thinks we're going there. I tell him, not yet Chico!
