  Disappointed in shopping experience. As a member and amounts spent in the store over the years. All has came to a halt over the simplicity of actions taken. Last transaction was for 108$. My boy and I went in for water as we always do. A box of saltwater and water for his fresh water fish. We also purchased 3 different types of filtration cartridges for our saltwater tank. 1 saltwater shrimp 24$ and 2 snails 9$ each. We live within 3 miles from the store. Took the bag with the shrimp and snails and placed it in the tank for the new pets to get use to the temperature . 10 minutes went by and as I approached the tank I noticed the shrimp was upside down. Not moving I went ahead and released it into the tank thinking maybe it ran out of air. It never woke up. I tried calling the store but I did not know anyones extension so it says good bye. You can’t talk to anyone unless you have their extension? Then the snails after all night did not move. They were dead also. I have had this tank set up for a year with 4 clown fish and no problems. Water temp 75 degrees. I gathered the new dead pets and took them and the receipt back to the store as online they say 30 day guarantee. I get back to the store and no sympathy or refund was given. The guarantee is not granted at this mountain home branch. That’s fine but when you have an employee pluck the snails off the glass and catch the shrimp with his hand and toss it in the bag. That’s the guarantee you receive. Long story short since nothing was done about the dead animals. I went home collected everything else I had purchased the night before and returned it to the store. I’ll get my things elsewhere from now on. Especially after all was returned they said they need to hang their signs back up about no returns on saltwater life. Customer service goes a long ways.

  The benefits are great. They keep track of how many you buy and after you buy 10, the 11th one is free. Prices are competitive. Also you get a card & you get a punch on it every time you spend $10. Once the card is filled out you a $10 discount . The employees are very friendly.
