As soon as I arrived to the hospital I asked the receptionist to tell the doctors that bloodwork was needed for a quality diagnosis for the animal in distress and that they should proceed with it. Three hours later I was told by the doctor that bloodwork was recommended. He suggested that the cat experienced hyperthermia tacitly implying that I was the cause of it, whereas the cat was anemic. He attempted to talk to me 3 times, but each time was interrupted by a nurse.

They tested her very thoroughly and were able to treat her. She stayed overnight for fluids. Now she’s back to her usual self. I really appreciate the care - it really started from the moment we walked in.
