- MJMike Kish JrNov 18, 20255.0Dr. Boyd and crew have treated my cat for 10+ years at this point. My cat's one of those that hates the place and the rest of the world during visits. Unlike all other vet offices I've visited with a cat subject to life threatening asthma bouts, I'm allowed to hold and provide some comfort till the last minute before a surgical procedure. All other practices, I pass him and his carrier across a counter after check-in and say goodbye till his return in the same way. I 'anchor' him during injections, thus minimizing stress of additional handling by strangers to him. Maybe not much in the grand scheme of things, but I feel emotionally better and think my hair ball gets some continued benefit from my presence for a little longer.
