    I went in before my dogs appointment and spoke with a girl named Sarah. I explained to her that my dog (standard poodle) was just over a year old and still kinda in that puppy stage. Shes not aggressive nor does she try to bite anyone. I also explained to her that my dog was “groomed” about a month ago and I don’t think they groomed her and she was left matted. When I dropped my dog off at her appointment Sarah said it would take several hours and I told her that wasn’t a problem to do whatever she could and even if it meant to shave her. We also talked about getting my dog on a grooming schedule. I go to pick her up 5 hours later and my dog looks great! Whoever groomed her did an amazing job! I was ready to book her next appointment. I would have given a 5 star rating BUT I was told by Sarah that even though my dog was NOT aggressive and DID NOT try and bit that they, Petco, would not be able to groom her anymore because my dog was “too much”. This was and is very disappointing. How is my dog supposed to get on a regular grooming schedule at the same place with the same people and get used to them when they say they won’t because she’s “too much”. I thought Petco was better than this. Also, while she, my dog, looks great her nails were not cut.
