- KDKatie DidiukDec 13, 20252.0I went into the Fort Smith Petco on Friday Dec 12, 2025 at 8PM because my daughter told me that they have holiday dog and cat toys buy 1 get 2 free. I couldn't find any signs so I asked an employee and he said that only a small selection of chew toys were on sale. I called my daughter and she said their page said holiday dog and cat toys. I asked for a manager and after several minutes of trying to find the info, he said only the Merry Maker brand was on sale. I found me some toys to purchase but when I went to check out the first toy rang up $15.00 but the sign on the box of toys said they were on sale for $10.50. He called the manager up and after I pointed the sign out he reluctantly rang the toy up for the $10.50. He did not say one word to me and I could tell he was not happy. As I was leaving I saw him go over to the box of toys and rip the $10.50 sign off the box. If they don't want to honor the sale, maybe they shouldn't post it on their website. After I returned home my daughter showed me their website and there are several different brands on the buy 1 get 2 sale, not just the Merry Makers. I don't know if the manager didn't know about the sale (which as a manager he should) or if he just didn't want to honor the sale that Petco is having. P.S. I loved the toys!
