  Friendly atmosphere and super helpful with putting worries away with my dog. They explain everything well and will awnser any relative questions or ask you relative questions.

  Google should allow 0 stars for this place. Shortly before Christmas, my husband and I were running errands with our dog Rusty. Rusty suddenly had a seizure in the car. We told our GPS to take us to the nearest vet office as our normal vet is in Hot Springs. Unfortunately, GPS brought us here. I rushed inside and explained to the receptionist what had happened. She asked if I had an appointment or was an existing client to which I again explained that this was an emergency and our vet was in another town. She said she didn't think they'd be willing to see my dog. I asked her to check and told her I'd be willing to wait however long. She went in the back for a very short time. When she came back she said, and I quote her directly here, "we don't have time for an emergency." I was shocked and asked if there was anything they could do. She told me to try other vet offices but "call them before you just show up." When we pulled into the parking lot, I felt relief that we had gotten our dog to a vet who would surely help. When we left this place, I left in tears both from worry and downright anger. The very definition of an emergency suggests that it is not something expected or scheduled. I have been in the waiting room at our normal vet's office when emergencies have come in. I have seen that office drop everything they could to help that animal. And I gladly waited for my appointment because I'd rather that emergency get the attention. That is how a vet's office should operate. On top of that, the receptionist had nothing but attitude and an extremely callous manner. She showed no concern for our dog or us. She didn't offer a single word of comfort or apology for not being able to help. She should not be working with animals or in any job related to customer service. I strongly suspect she (and perhaps the vets if she even spoke to them) just didn't want to stay late, even if it meant turning away an animal and family in need. A few days later, I looked up the reviews on this place. It seems this is by far not the first time they have turned away a pet in an emergency. Each time they seem to respond that you "should" be able to count on them in an emergency, but clearly these are hollow words. Looking at the most recent review before this one, it is also clear that we are not the only ones receiving rude treatment at the hands of their receptionist.

  Saline County Animal is a horrendous/terrible clinic! Receptionists is the worst and has horrible customer service interactions! They dont care or even know how to communicate properly! Would not recommend!

  Really appreciate the care and kindness not only to my cat " Chunky" but also to my daughter and myself. Dr pearson and her assistant were knowledgeable,kind and didn't rush us. Thankful for their new patient discount. Also thankful for Crystal who answered my calls and took care of me over the phone .

  Dr bradford is top notch. He will not do any tests that aren't needed. He's a realist and looks out for the BEST INTEREST OF THE ANIMAL. I've been using him for 2 years now. Great guy all the way around
