- ADApril DawnAug 31, 20251.0We have been with Banfield for a few years now. Today was the last straw. We have 7 rescue babies and several have medical needs. We picked up a stray 11 days ago. All of them are on wellness plans except this new pup. 5 attend doggy daycare. However, this is the second time that the ridiculous staff members have made comments about us having too many pets, suggesting that I find a rescue, etc . We ran a very successful rescue many years ago before moving to southern Alabama. How about you keep your hateful comments to yourself. My animals are taken care of better than most people’s children. You’d never say such idiotic, hateful remarks to a pregnant woman in an ob office, so what makes you think that someone that pays $6000 a year in wellness plans (not including other things that have to be done and checked) can’t afford another animal? It’s not your place. Learn to keep your mouth shut and be respectful. I helped a stray dog and your staff walking out mid sentence and the snide comments and disrespectful comments (“omg another dog” , “you don’t need another dog”) about our pets was enough. I didn’t ask for your opinion. I wouldn’t recommend you to care for a cockroach with that attitude. I pay you, you don’t pay me.

The receptionist was quick and professional, and did not give me the runaround about pricing - she explained every charge in detail. The veterinarians are very thorough and professional, and I was impressed by the way they handledy cat's emergency visit. They let me know what was going on in between procedures, and explained my cat's condition in a way I could understand. I'm overall very appreciative of the care my pet received here.
- LLLeSean LyndeJul 9, 20235.0I cant thank this team enough, it's been I want to say a year since they saved my cat Naples, I thought he had an abcess or something that had burst open on his neck, while he was in surgery they loacted a string and sewing needle coming from that same spot he had swallowed and his body was expelling it, I am so grateful to them and they will always have our business, Naples isn't just a cat, he is family and we will never forget them for all they've done.

What is an Optimum Wellness Plan?
Optimum Wellness Plans are designed to provide annual preventive care. They include head-to-tail exams, vaccines, early screening diagnostics, consultations for proper nutrition, dental care and more! Since wellness plans are not insurance, they do not include treatment for unpredictable or abnormal conditions, however discounts would apply. Because pets need ongoing preventive care, wellness plans automatically renew at the end of each twelve month period (unless paid in full at enrollment).
How do I pay for an Optimum Wellness Plan?
You can spread the cost of your wellness plan across the 12 months of your annual agreement to make it easier to budget for the essential health care your pet needs. Your monthly payments can be automatically withdrawn from a checking or savings account or charged to a credit card so that you don’t have to worry about them once you enroll. We also offer the option of paying in full if you prefer.

• In-room appointments: You and your pet visit the vet together. Please arrive a few minutes before your appointment time
• Drop-off appointments: If you have a drop-off appointment, we will communicate a time to drop off your pet. Keep your phone nearby and we’ll call you when your pet is ready for pickup.
• Optimum Wellness Plans® Virtual Visits: If you have an Optimum Wellness Plan and scheduled a Virtual Visit, you’ll save valuable time and get quality care from the comfort of your home.
